I was able to get out for some 08 KTM 505 XC-F suspension test and tune this morning. Originally on previous post/video I went with getting the springs and sag set for my weight, but running the previous owners clicker settings and I did not like it.
This morning I had the clickers set back to OEM spec and it was far better. After a hot lap up test hill I started backing off compression and playing with rebound till I felt it was the best it could be with OEM valving.
Couple notes- OEM gearing not the greatest for tight and slow (13T next ride), VP-T4 is the shizzle (try it you’ll like it!). Steering damper may be in my future!
