UMI's boxed lower control arms feature Roto-Joint technology for a smooth and bind-free performance, providing a comfortable ride. The control arms are constructed from 0.120” wall thickness rectangular tubing, with CNC machined bushing holders and MIG welded end caps to keep out debris. They are designed to accommodate both stock and aftermarket rear sway bars, with reinforced sway bar holes for added strength. The Roto-Joints eliminate arm flex and bushing deflection, improving traction and reducing wheel hop.
The Roto-Joints offer 28 degrees of unrestricted movement, allowing for precise handling and articulation. The delrin-lined Roto-Joints absorb shock and road noise, making them suitable for both street and track use. The control arms are shipped fully assembled and ready to install, with a durable powder coat finish for longevity.
UMI's Roto-Joint technology features a 4140 chrome moly spherical ball rotating in a delrin race, providing wear resistance and durability. The Roto-Joints are adjustable and rebuildable, ensuring long-term performance.
The optional spanner wrench allows for easy adjustment and disassembly of the Roto-Joints for maintenance.
