Why Increased Coolant Flow Matters

Your engine transfers heat into the coolant, and the coolant carries that heat to the radiator. Increasing the effective coolant flow rate can improve the cooling system’s ability to move heat away from the engine—especially during hard riding, high-load operation and low-airflow conditions.

Tested in Real-World Quadzilla Conditions

Todd Witz, owner of Witz Motorsports and an experienced Quadzilla specialist, tested the OptiFlo Impeller on his dune-built LT500R.

During approximately 300–400 miles of riding and roughly 40 gallons of fuel, he reported operating temperatures as much as 20°F cooler. The improvement was especially noticeable in low-airflow conditions, where LT500R cooling systems commonly struggle.
