This kit is a set of 16, Steel Valve Spring Retainers made from heat treated Steel with a Black Oxide Finish. It is designed to withstand high spring pressures for high performance applications.
Edelbrock #9707 Valve Spring Retainers are for Chevy LS1 OE or Edelbrock Cylinder Heads and Chrysler Gen III Hemi Edelbrock Cylinder Heads. They are steel with 1.0" O.D. and work with Beehive Style Springs, 8mm Valve Stems, and 7 Deg Locks
