89 – ’01 Honda CR500 Billet HIGH FLOW 7* Elbow

Replaces 12103-ML3-680 JOINT, WATER HOSE, and 91356-GC4-731 O-RING (22.1X3.5)

Description

89′ – ’01 Honda CR500 Billet HIGH FLOW 7* Elbow CFD showed a +1 PSI backpressure reduction and flow bench testing showed .954 AVG GPM more coolant flow than OEM/Replicas

  • The FIRST BIG reason it dominates the OEM and OEM billet replicas! Fully radiused interior VS sharp 90* turn with minor corner fillet. The 7* elbow has a fully radiused interior profile which, as a result, causes a dramatically smoother flow, relieves back PSI, and reduces aeration.
  • The SECOND BIG reason it dominates the OEM and OEM billet replicas! Elbow to cylinder coolant port aligned correctly VS misaligned from the factory. The 7* Elbow outlet port is shifted and aligned “correctly” to the cylinder inlet port reducing turbulence/aeration and smoothing flow VS misaligned from the factory.
  • The THIRD BIG reason it dominates the OEM and OEM billet replicas! Pivoted to point directly at the H20 pumps discharge port VS spigot not in line with the H20 pump port. The 7* Elbow inlet spigot is pivoted to point directly at the H20 pumps discharge port VS OEM and OEM billet replicas spigot not pointing at H20 pump discharge port. Boosting cooling system efficiency.
  • The FOURTH Big reason it dominates the OEM and OEM billet replicas! Spigots lead in the profile is tapered VS Squared edge. The 7* Elbow has a 6mm 3* lead in taper. This lead-in taper maintains a smooth laminar flow as it transitions from the hose to the elbow’s inlet reducing turbulence/aeration and backpressure.

These are now available in shiny billet, silver (cast look), or Military Spec (MIL-A-8625) red Anodized, and black Anodized.

Viton (OEM size) O-Ring provided.
