Purpose-Built Chain Protection

When a chain breaks or comes off the front sprocket, it can collect between the sprocket and engine case. The resulting impact can crack the case, damage the countershaft area and bring the ride to an immediate end.

The MSV Racing case saver adds a rigid layer of billet-aluminum protection around the front sprocket to help reduce the risk of serious engine-case damage.

No case saver can guarantee protection during every chain failure, but it provides an important additional line of defense.

Fully Radiused Interior Profile

The engine-facing side features a smoothly radiused interior rather than a sharply squared surface.

This profile is designed to help guide a loose or broken chain downward and away from the engine case while reducing sharp internal areas where the chain could catch and concentrate its force.

One-Piece 6061-T6 Billet Construction

Each case saver is CNC-machined from a solid piece of 6061-T6 billet aluminum for strength, accurate fitment and long-term durability.

The one-piece design eliminates welded joints while providing rigid protection without unnecessary weight or bulk.

Fits Front Sprockets Up to 14T

The case saver provides clearance for front sprockets up to 14 teeth, allowing riders to adjust gearing for different riding conditions.

Always verify adequate clearance between the chain, sprocket and case saver after installation—especially after changing gearing.
