The sound is regulated by a specially developed control kit, which uses valves to provide the optimal sound experience of an Akrapovic exhaust in all drive modes, without compromising comfort. It delivers a rich high-frequency sound with a sporty note for V6 models, and the V8 versions create an orchestral harmonic rumble with a sporty note as the revs rise. Both engines produce a smooth tone through the exhaust without any drone for maximum everyday comfort. The exhaust system offers a substantial weight saving of 46% (8.6 kg) over the V8 sport stock version and 44.5% (8.3 kg) over the V6 sport stock system.
