I am restoring my 2007 RM250 and needed to replace the Stator Grommet. The only way to obtain a new Grommet is to purchase a complete Stator Assembly. MSV to the rescue with this high quality rubber grommet. You will have to de-pin the connector, which is super easy with a blunt tip pick. If you have a 6 wire Stator Cable, put 2 wires (Yellow and Black w/ White Stripe) through the center hole and the remaining wires in the other 4 holes. Use some Silicone or Dielectric grease to help push/pull the wires. I am installing a Panthera E-Start that requires Transmission fluid in this side so I needed to have a water tight seal. To further help seal, I filled the boot and slot of the grommet with Optimum Black RTV before installing. To finish it up, I applied heavy duty shrink wrap over the boot and PVC Cable sleeve. If you are restoring an RM this is a must have part.
