MSV Racing’s Suzuki LT500 Quadzilla High-Volume Impeller

Description

-We offer a leading-edge solution to help customers achieve the best possible LT500 engine cooling.

When we saw the poor OEM impeller for the Quadzilla we knew we could make an impeller that would cool the big bore ATV far better than any impeller on the market.

What takes the MSV Racing OptiFlo Impeller to the next level of LT500 “Quadzilla” cooling?

  1. Optimal number of blades to reduce fluid slip, thus improving efficiency.
  2. Blade shape and angle designed to smooth coolant entry and exit, minimizing flow separation and turbulence.
  3. Super strong billet 7075 aluminum to increase durability.
  4. Very smooth surface finish to reduce fluid friction and turbulence.
  5. Conical sealing washer and pan head fastener used to smooth coolant entry, reducing aeration.

An increase in coolant flow rate cools far better because the rate of heat transfer from the engine to the cooling system is directly proportional to the mass flow rate of coolant. It is based on the coolant in the system transferring heat on the principal of source (engine) to sink (radiator) differential and the exchange material’s transfer rate.

Todd Witz owner of Witz Motorsports (Quadzilla specialist) ran his dune quad  300-400 miles and roughly 40 gallons of fuel with this impeller and noted up to 20*f cooler running at low air flow situations. This is where his dune build needed extra cooling the most!

Remember, horsepower/RPM = heat. Preventing your engine from heat soak is the KEY to building and maintaining maximum engine performance. The more efficient the engine’s cooling system, the more heat (horsepower) it can handle.

3 reviews for MSV Racing’s Suzuki LT500 Quadzilla High-Volume Impeller

  1. Dave BB (store manager)

Been looking to upgrade my zilla impeller and saw the machined oem style on facebook which I almost bought. Then I found this one which is obviously a cooling upgrade! I see cooler temps everywhere.

  2. Robert Bollenbacher (verified owner)

The flow looks better and it’s a work of art.

  3. Tom G (verified owner)

First impression? Sure made bleeding the cooling system quicker! Maybe it has less cavitation or just the extra flow, but it made bleeding the zilla that has an auxiliary radiator much easier.
