These Honda CR500 Exhaust Manifolds fit the 1985-2001 CR500 engine.
These Exhaust Manifolds are our economical version and are constructed of billet 6061 T6-511 aluminum and Hard Anodized to Military Spec (MIL-A-8625). This Hard Anodizing puts a strong coating protecting the Manifold from abrasion and corrosion. These Hard Anodized Type III Black and silver colors will not fade with high temperature like standard Type II anodizing. These manifolds comes with the 4 high-temp FKM O-rings installed. Better materials make a better product.
Hard Anodizing (Type III), is done under more exacting process conditions resulting in a harder, denser, thicker, coating that will be exposed to extreme wear!
Dyno proven to provide up to +3.9hp and +1.4lbft tq depending on your engine build.

- There are high temp FKM O-rings on the manifold spigot that seal the expansion chamber and stop the black drool that can leak with the OEM flange. This also allows easy pipe removal and install without having to re-seal.
- A 4th FKM O-ring on the back of the flange eliminates the gasket and stops the need to buy a gasket or scrape one-off when doing top end work, etc.
- The Type III Hard Anodizing inhibits carbon deposits. They also retain their color with zero fading.
- All versions of our CF500 Exhaust Manifold have a .500″ lead-in taper in the exhaust port hole on the flange side that allows for larger exhaust port matching to promote more power.
- They are less than 1/2 the weight of OEM flange. (Did we mention, less than half!)

I’ve had my 2001 CR500 Snowbike equipped with one of these beautiful, effective, and cost friendly parts since 2017. This bike sees wide open throttle and high temperatures all day long. The MSV CR50 Exe. manifold doesn’t leak a drop. Upon removing the exhaust for some cylinder porting upgrades the manifold looked great considering all the vibration the CR5 gets. Cheers!

If you have a CR500, the MSV exhaust manifold is a MUST! Been struggling with properly sealing the exhaust pipe and stopping it from leaking and getting oil all over the front cylinder. Bought OEM manifold and seals twice and still leaked. Install this on my bike and haven’t had a drop come out anywhere. This manifold is well worth it.

I only have one ride on it, and it looks fantastic. Production quality is first rate! No more leaks. Used dielectric grease on install per instructions. Durability remains to be seen. I realized after I ordered that a stainless version is available. Probably should link the two on the site so others know as well. I would’ve probably gone stainless if I had known.

A really good, solid product. No leaks at all, no drool on the cylinder. proper quality bit of kit. The only downside is that the rubber O-rings have expanded / degraded and snapped when i have tried to remove and re-fit my pipe. looking at another review on the replacement rings it seems the same issue, when the raw fuel hits the rubber it ruins it, its probably fine while its still on the bike in place but means you will need new seals if you plan to remove and replace your exhaust. Not a massive issue at $5 per set, but a timing problem for me waiting for them to come to the UK 🙁
If buying one, which you certainty should, just get a spare set of rings for good order.
